Meditation Under A Tree

Most of us have a strong longing and need for peace in the body, mind, and heart. When we sit in the lap of Grandmother Tree. She is ready to receive us and offer rest and peace.                                                           Trees symbolise wisdom, stability, shelter, growth and the process of renewal. Trees set a beautiful example of gracefully weathering different seasons, including strong wind, heavy rain, frost, extreme heat and drought.  When we meditate under A tree, all these qualities are imbibed in us unknowingly.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Thoughts during meditation settle slowly, slowly-----

People often say, " Whenever I sit for meditation, my mind is full of thoughts. I can't focus. They often ask, how can I reach a state when there are no thoughts in my mind?". On the line of Osho's thoughts, if we continue with the sincere meditational practice, slowly, slowly, slowly, slowly, very slowly, our minds will settle forever.

Meditation is not the length, but the sincerity with which it is practiced

You might have come across people stating "I have meditated for three hours or seven hours." True, if we read our scriptures, we will come across yogies, who went in samadhi for days. However, many studies seem to conclude that just 20 minutes of sincere meditation per day can result in significant benefits. Meditation is also about quality and not quantity. Every meditator has a unique personality, strength, and learning curve. So, for a common man, 20 minutes of sincere meditation per day should do good. Let meditational experience be our guide.                                                                                                                                                                Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Be a natural observer of your own life

Think of the time, when you were travelling by train and looking out of the window. What did you see? You might have seen fields in which tractors were moving, children playing outside their houses and a railway crossing where people were waiting for the train to pass. You might have also come across factories with tall chimneys and many other things.
What happens when we have crossed these regions? Do these things still affect us? Generally, no, these are the things we saw while travelling. In the same way, when we are passing through our journey of life, we should become a natural observer of our own life. Just noticing, watching, and not judging. Meditation can help us to reach such a state.                                                                                                                                                                      Keep Meditating
