We learnt a lot in these Nine years


We learned a lot ... in these 11 years

Another year of dedication has resulted in this day. On this day, 11 years ago, I( Saurabh Madan) created the first infographic. What an amazing journey it has been. Using only creativity and the amazing infrastructure the world has already created, we have been able to stand on our own feet. We have given life to many beautiful thoughts on meditation, made the world a little more beautiful and meditated with many more friends from around the planet. Here is to many more to come.

Watch your feelings as though they are waves created by passing boat

 

  We all have observed that our feelings, like sadness, anger, excitement or loneliness, directly affect our daily life. Some days when we get up in the morning, we feel low and aimless, on another day, when we have a goal, we feel excited about it. For example, when someone has remarked, " that you are not good enough" we feel low, but another day, when we get positive feedback, we are happy. Can someone's remark affect us? Can an external factor generate a feeling that can snatch our natural self? Yes, for quite a few of us. Watch your feelings as though they are the waves created by a passing by boat. How do we achieve this state? Meditation is one way to help us learn to be more aware and accepting of our emotions. Dealing effectively with emotions is a key leadership skill."                                                                                                                                    Keep Meditating

The unprepared mind can not even see the outstretched hand of opportunity. Be A Meditator- Meditate to switch off from planning to present moment


 There might have been moments when you were totally flooded with thoughts of the project you were planning. You were so engrossed that you even missed a meal or did not notice things around you. It does happen, the time spent dwelling on the project will surely continue in your present moment and the future. But if you are thinking about something else, then it is difficult to live and enjoy the present moment. Living in the present moment means letting go of the past. Living your life consciously, aware of each moment. Awareness can be strengthened with the help of meditation. Meditate to switch from moment to moment, like planning for the required time and then returning to the present moment.                                                                                                 Keep Meditating

Be A Meditator- Become aware of your sense perceptions




You might have come across someone who just walked through the room and did not notice the person sitting there, spilt milk, a fallen pen or an open window/door. I was quite surprised when I noticed this for the first time in a person very well-known to me. Being aware and being alive are two different things. We are equipped with senses such as sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch that help us to take in the world around us, but perception is the process of becoming aware of things around us in the present moment. Being in the present moment is one of the virtues we can achieve through meditation. Regular meditation can develop the skill of being in the present moment.
