We all have noticed that during meditation, waves of thoughts come one after another. It's normal. I noticed that during meditation, thoughts related to recent events, or things I had read or watched the previous night, kept surfacing in my mind. Remote and unfamiliar thoughts also appear sometimes. Meditation gives us an opportunity to look at what our minds do when we are observing our breath. With most of us, what our mind does is wander off. We don't have to be rigid and strict with our minds, just surf over the thoughts which appear. However, we need a surfing board of meditation to ride on the waves of thoughts. Keep Meditating

Meditation can bring you closer to your intuition
Once we were driving through a hilly terrain. I had a very peculiar uneasiness. A number of times I told myself to turn back, feeling something was not right. Half way we found that there was a roadblock due to a landslide. That uneasiness was intuition. Intuition is the ability to understand something instinctively without the need for conscious reasoning. It is not magical but a faculty in which gut feelings are generated by the unconscious mind from past experiences and cumulative knowledge. Can we develop an ability to rely on intuitions? Yes, meditation can help us get closer to our intuition by helping us clear our minds of distractions and recognise subtle impulses from within. Keep Meditating

We learned a lot ... in these 10 years
Another year of dedication has resulted in this day. On this day, 10 years ago, I( Saurabh Madan) created the first infographic. What an amazing journey it has been. Using only creativity and the amazing infrastructure the world has already created, we have been able to stand on our own feet. We have given life to many beautiful thoughts on meditation, made the world a little more beautiful and meditated with many more friends from around the planet. Here is to many more to come.

Be A Meditator- Meditate to not get affected by changing emotions
Did you notice that whenever we are watching TV or a movie on a screen or computer or mobile phone, Scenes are projected on the screen in the form of moving pictures, but the moving images do not affect the screen? Life is also like a screen. Daily activities, emotions, and thoughts keep coming and going, but our body is not affected, only sometimes our minds get affected. meditation can help us to remain like a screen and not get affected by changing emotions. Be A Meditator- Meditation is a focussed and ritualised, practice of attention
One day, while in school. We gathered around our physics sir outside class on a bright sunny day. He had a convex lens in his hand focussing on a white paper. Soon we saw paper stared burning at the focal point of the lens. Nothing will happen if the lens is just kept on the paper. Meditation is a focused and ritualistic practice of attention. The ritualistic vibrations of a meditator are like light rays converging at the focal point of the mind and enhancing the power of attention, soon mind starts calming down. Also making meditation more powerful and effective. Keep Meditating
