Ana Pana Sati Stablises The Mind and resolves negativities

Are there some moments when one feels like resenting, shouting or wailing? Everyone does, at some or other time. All of us have some or other problem. At times, these problems might have been triggered by someone else's miscalculation. We might get some relief by complaining or blaming. Also, if we are at fault, then we might try to cover it by pretending that everything is fine. These are negative acts. How do we resolve these negativities?
By practising the simplest form of meditation, Ana Pana Sati, " breathe in, breathe out and be one with it" we will be able to resolve these negativities and stabilise our minds easily.

Meditate to See the Real Person Within

Do you have mood swings? Everyone has mood swings. Sometimes we are angry for some reason and tend to start shouting, weeping or just go silent. Other times when we don't agree with others' opinions, we become rigid and just refuse to relent. Little things irritate us so much that we start blaming others. Or cut off from everyone. But these behaviours prevail only for a little while. Another time, we are also happy to see a beautiful sunrise. We sympathise with someone who is sad or forgive the person who has hurt us. Many times, we patiently wait for our turn. Meditation helps us to go beyond our behavioural flaws and see the real person within us, the loving, friendly and caring person within us.                                                                                                                       Keep meditating.

Meditation Sees Us Through all the tests

Some people nurture a feeling of disappointment because their capacity to help others remains unused. "I have so much strength that I can move a lorry, ( I know I don't have to move a lorry).   However, why isn't anyone asking for my help"? or, " I am a sincere and dedicated worker, this is my truth". But why is it not being recognised by others?
I may have created a reservoir of water over many years, but if I don't let it flow. It will overflow and spill, and all the effort will go waste. In the same way, all the knowledge we have accumulated has to pass through a test.
Our Truth, Belief, Strength, and Knowledge must pass through many tough tests. ( aag ke Dariya se ho ker guzarna parta Hai), before it can be acknowledged. Then what do we do to deal with this disappointment? Yes, one way is meditation.
Meditation sees us through all these tests.                                                                                                                           Keep meditating.

Embrace Emptiness with Meditation

Once a large project or undertaking is over, it is natural to feel empty. It may also occur after a major goal has been achieved, a long journey, a sudden reduction in responsibilities upon retirement or when a child leaves for college. In such times, it is natural to feel empty, and we generally fill this emptiness by turning to food, television, or other substitutes which do not fill the emptiness.

Under such circumstances, it is best to start meditating. The feeling of emptiness will soon pass. Leaving us in the emotional space to pick up a more wholesome next step. Meditation is a long-term investment in emotional stability. It is a very important skill for human beings.                                                                                                                                   Keep Meditating                                                                                                                                                  Write-up by Neera

Cultivate awareness of blame and transform it into personal responsibility

Spiritual growth leads to long-term happiness and stability. When we blame others, we give up our own happiness. When we take responsibility, at least for what we can change, we become happier. The key thing is to catch ourselves when we are blaming others. With awareness, we automatically move towards more wholesome behaviours. Meditation can help cultivate awareness, which brings a lot of refinement in all areas of our lives. Meditate to build up awareness, and also practice mindfulness of communication to move towards personal responsibility.                                                                                                                     Keep Meditating         Write-up by NEERA

Give attention to the action itself

Whenever we are taking any action. Most of us start thinking about what will happen if we undertake this action. If we can perform actions without being preoccupied with the fruits. We will be able to discharge our duties efficiently.
According to Eckhart Tolle, do not be concerned with the fruit of your action. Just give attention to the action itself. The fruit will come of its own accord. The Lord Krishna says the same thing in the Bhagwat Gita.  " Perform actions without expectation of result."                                                                                                                                         Keep Meditating                          Write-up by Neera

Meditation Is The Gateway to the right path.

We come across so many jigsaw puzzles in kids' books, like Help the Rabbit to Reach the Carrot. Which is the lucky cat who can reach the milk? Fly with the butterfly to the flower. Life is also a jigsaw puzzle of reaching the glowing gate. It is dark all around, and only one door is lit. But before we enter this gate, there are many questions in our minds. Should I enter through this door? It seems well-marked. It can’t be so easy. What is beyond this light? Peace, tranquillity or turmoil. We don’t know which path to take.            Meditation is the lit door, which shows the path that lies beyond this gate. Which is still unknown. Regular meditation helps us in getting ready to accept whatever comes our way and tread ahead.                                                                                        Keep Meditating

Celebration is the highest peak of meditation ...

Celebration! The first thought that crosses our mind may be celebrating weddings or festivals. There we come across feasts for our senses: delicious food, an aesthetic environment, joyous music, singing and dancing. A question arises in our minds, How do we connect it with meditation? In celebration, there is an element of letting go of worries, concerns, resentment and egoistic preoccupation, and we are present in the moment. The same thing happens when we are in deep meditation. We forget everything and remain in the present moment.                                                                                                                                                                                                               Keep meditating

Meditate to respond calmly to anger

What is the combined formula for action, reactions and emotions of life? It is said life is 10 percent of what happens to us and 90 percent of how we react to it. When we respond calmly to anger, we are living life at 90%. We can see through, why that person is getting angry. We can eliminate the root cause of anger and help him live a happier life.
Responding calmly to anger is a beautiful way to understand life. Meditate to respond calmly.

Breath is the Great Gateway for Understanding the essence of Soul

Is it possible for one human being to understand another? Maybe yes. Maybe no. When we are able to look beyond the appearance of a person, we may understand the essence of his soul. The essence is like a drop of rose oil from a bucket full of roses. In general, there are seven types of soul essence
King, warrior, sage, artisan, server, scholar and priest.
It is with the soul that we grasp the essence of another human being. Breath is the great gateway for understanding the essence of the soul.
Observe your breath. "Ana Pana Sati"

In the Attitude of Silence Soul finds The Path in a Clearer Light

When we step out into the darkness, Initially it is totally dark, nothing is visible. As we continue to stay there, things become clearer. Similarly, when we stay in silence, preferably a silent ambiance, things within us become clearer. The inner silence develops with meditation.
                           Keep Meditating.

Be humble as you progress

Once we start making progress in our meditation, all kinds of improvements begin in our lives. We become intuitive, have better health, but there is also the possibility of pride entering into us. Be aware of this. If pride enters, then the song stops. Through our meditation, we become aligned with many beneficial energies, but once pride enters, this alignment is lost. We must live with an awareness of what is happening within us. True humility is the sign of true progress.
